TheSpot518: You described your band as hard rock, you play covers and original songs. What bands do you cover and which bands influence your sound the most?
Tom Morello of N.Y. Grey: The band’s we cover are, Metallica, Everlast, Soundgarden, The Who, Pearl Jam, The Allman Brothers, Ted Nugent, and more.
TheSpot518: Music fans don’t often get to share the same experience you feel by standing on stage in front of a crowd. What is that like?
Tom Morello of N.Y. Grey: When I’m on stage with our band, I feel pumped and love the response from the crowd.
TheSpot518: We see the Capital District as a great place for live music, and it’s been recognized as such by people who are not from around here. What can you share about your experience in the scene?
