DELMAR — Come rain or shine, the people of Bethlehem still come out for Memorial Day services.
Residents donned rain coats and held umbrellas as they lined the town’s parade route despite a soft, steady rain Monday morning, May 29. The precession was noticeably smaller, a product of weather reports that called for rain all day. Nonetheless, many of the town’s organizations continued to brave the weather. In addition to the rain, the Delmar Fire Department was called out from the parade line in order to report to a call.
