ALBANY — Garth Hudson, one of two remaining original members of The Band, will be a special guest at The Last Waltz 40 Tour stop Thursday, Feb. 2, at Albany’s Palace Theatre.
Hudson joins Warren Haynes (Gov’t Mule), Michael McDonald (The Doobie Brothers), Jamey Johnson (country singer), John Medeski (Martin, Medeski and Wood), Don Was (Was Not Was), Terence Higgins (Dirty Dozen Brass Band), Bob Margolin (Muddy Waters), Dave Malone (The Radiators), Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk) and Mark Mullins (Bonerama) for this tour stop. Hudson was The Band’s multi-instrumentalist and a driving force in the group’s Americana/roots rock sound.
