COLONIE – The Friends of Pruyn House hosted their annual Holiday Open House weekend on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2 and 3.
The historic house, built between 1825 and 1830, was decorated by the Blue Creek Garden Club with a theme of “Down Memory Lane.”
The Fort Orange Garden Club hosted a greens sale in the schoolhouse, and on Saturday music was provided by members of the American Recorder Society.
The mission of the Friends of Pruyn House, a not-for-profit community organization in partnership with the Town of Colonie, serving as the educational, historical and cultural center of the Town, is to restore, conserve and preserve the Pruyn House Complex.
