TROY — A sold out crowd witnessed the return of The Fleshtones at The Hangar in Troy, Saturday, Oct. 15.
The Fleshtones is celebrating its 40th anniversary as a band. The four-piece garage band out of New York City has led a storied career, debuting at CBGBs in 1976 and ultimately outlasting the iconic underground music venue.
Albany’s Off The Record warmed the crowd up with an eclectic arrangement of covers from the 1960s and 1970s. But, before the night was through, The Fleshtones had the barroom floor buckling to the beat of “Bigger and Better,” “We Remember The Ramones,” and more.
