Over the last 13 years, Troy has become the place to be in the summer.
Events like Troy Pig Out, River Street Festival, Troy Chowder Fest, Rockin on the River, and the Powers Park Concert Series have created much needed, positive buzz about Albany’s little sister across the river.
Rockin on the River kicks the season off on June 10. Some of the nation’s top tribute bands, mixed with some of the Capital District’s best, will be headlining this event each and every Wednesday evening through August 12.
Staged along the historic Hudson River, showtimes are at 5 p.m. each evening.

8/05 –Blues for Breakfast (Grateful Dead Tribute)
8/12 –Zoso (Led Zeppelin Tribute), with WVCR ‘Play to Play’ Contest winner.
River Street Arts Fest is the longest running Troy event. Over the past 15 years, the combination of arts and crafts, festival foods, and live music brings thousands to the Collar City. This year’s entry happens on June 20.

The Powers Park Concert Series will be kicking off its 12 season on Saturday, July 11. This community happening has evolved over the years into Lansingburgh’s most anticipated event. Each week, different genres of musical styles are showcased, featuring some of the top acts in the Northeast.
