Meet Pat.
“Pat is everyone’s worst date or relationship all rolled into one, inanimate object,” said Lisa Perazzo, special events manager for Proctors. A life-sized voodoo doll, Pat is the centerpiece to a fun, light-hearted event planned for singles and hitched alike at the GE Theatre at Proctors on Feb. 14.
“I wanted to have a life-sized voodoo doll because I thought it would be fun,” said Perazzo. “I imagine our stage guys will get their hands on him… Wait, Pat is gender neutral. I’m sure we’re going to have males as well as females who would want to put a hex on their ex.”
“LOVE Bites!” is a Singles Awareness Day Celebration. On Feb. 14, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., patrons are encouraged to have fun, enjoy entertainment, and partake in cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, prizes and more.
Red Hot Entertainment will spin anti-love favorites, while Mazzone Hospitality will provide food.
“Pin a Hex on Your Ex” will allow scorned lovers to write a message to their requited, while a wish bowl will be on hand for those still holding out hope.
