Glenville’s Oktoberfest was held on Saturday, Sept. 29, and wasn’t a complete washout as it rained only sporadically during the event.
Traditional German food was grilled throughout the day as German music filled the hanger at Richmor Aviation at the Schenectady County Airport. There was the occasional toast of German brew, too.
Outside of the hanger there were several activities for children, including the Kid’s Safety House by the Schenectady Fire Department, laser tag, a rock climbing wall, arts and crafts and more.
Town Supervisor Christopher Koetzle stepped into the dunk both and splashed into the water several times as dark clouds loomed.
