Indian Ladder Farms will be hosting the authors for the new book `John Boyd Thacher State Park and
the Indian Ladder Region,` a collection of photographs and postcards depicting the story of how the wilderness became a park.
Local historian and author Timothy J. Albright and writer and land conservationist Laura A. Ten Eyck have both lived their entire lives beneath the cliffs of the Helderberg Escarpment. They developed a fascination with the local legend of the Indian Ladder and the history of Thacher State Park.
Book signing and meet the authors to discuss their book Saturday, Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. at Indian Ladder Farms, 342 Altamont -Voorheesville Rd., Altamont.
