SPOTTED: Patroons win home opener in front of 1,902

ALBANY — The Patroons won its home and season opener on Saturday, Feb. 1 by beating the Tri-State Admirals by a score of 130-120 in front of a solid crowd of 1,902.

The Patroons went on to beat Tri-State on the road in New Jersey by a score of 101-96 to open the season 2-0.

Over two games, Shadell Millinghaus is averaging 28 points, 17.5 rebounds and eight assists for the defending The Basketball League champs. Anthony Moe is averaging 22 points and seven rebounds a game and Anthony Allen is putting up an average of 18.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 4.5 blocks.

On Saturday, Feb. 8 and Sunday Feb. 9, The Patroons will travel to the Tampa area to play the Gulf Coast Lions and return home on Friday, Feb. 14 to play the Raleigh Firebirds and on Saturday, Feb. 15 to play the Columbus Condors.
