ALBANY COUNTY Bethlehem scored four times in the second period on its way to a 7-2 victory over Shaker/Colonie in a Capital District High School Hockey League game Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Albany County Hockey Facility in Colonie.
Thomas Liebold had two goals and two assists, and Michael Lemieux added a goal and three assists for the Eagles. Brian Harder, Michael Bievenue, Hayes Meredith and Andrew Yankowski also tallied for Bethlehem.
Tyler Wilson scored both of Shaker/Colonie’s goals, and goaltenders Connor Harris and Ali Caruso combined to make 34 saves.
Saratoga defeated Christian Brothers Academy 4-1 in other CDHSHL action. Jake Fauler scored twice for Saratoga, and goaltender Danny Hobbs stopped 22 of the 23 shots he faced.
Peter Galica tallied for CBA, and goalie Justin Bryar made 38 saves.
Niskayuna/Schenectady eased past Guilderland/Mohonasen/Scotia 9-0 at Union College. Nate Kim recorded a hat trick, and Joey Laurange contributed two goals and two assists for the Mohawks.
Goaltender Daniel Cooper made 33 saves for G/M/S.
