Shenendehowa and Shaker remained undefeated in Suburban Council boys soccer by posting impressive victories Thursday, Sept. 11.
Shen (5-0-0) scored three times in the second half to defeat Bethlehem 4-0 in Clifton Park, while Shaker (3-0-1) eased past Mohonasen 7-1 in Latham.
Tucker Marvin scored Shen’s first-half goal and added a penalty kick tally to start the Plainsmen’s second-half push. Maurizio Magnoli and Kyle Clemens added goals to help Shen pull away and hand Bethlehem (2-2-0) its first loss since opening the season with a 1-0 setback against Guilderland.
Shaker scored all seven of its goals in the first half on its way to beating Mohonasen (0-4-0). Matt JeanPierre had two of the Blue Bison’s goals, with Justin Brehm, Carter Haydock, Tommy Jelstrom, Dave Adediran and Vikram Mangat providing the other five goals.

Ballston Spa (2-2-0) handed Colonie (2-1-1) its first loss of the season by beating the Garnet Raiders 4-1. Anders Trestick recorded a hat trick for the Scotties, who rallied from an early 1-0 deficit.
Selmir Sasic had Colonie’s lone goal.
