It seems like only yesterday that the spring season for high school sports ended, and now we can look forward to the official start of the fall season when area golf teams take to the links Aug. 25. But, is that date too soon for the season to begin? And what about the area soccer teams that begin play Sept. 2 or the football teams that begin play Sept. 5?
