The Colonie boys track and field team split a Suburban Council duel meet with Shenendehowa and Niskayuna Tuesday in Niskayuna.
The Garnet Raiders defeated the host Silver Warriors 113-63, but they lost to the Plainsmen 91-85.
Jake johnson led Colonie with victories in the 800- and 1,600-meter races. Ben Taylor finished first in the 200-meter dash, while Devin Olander earned a victory in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles.
Colonie also won the 400- and 3,200-meter relays. Taylor, James Newsom, Brandon Ng and Dan Kehrer teamed up in the 400-meter relay, while Jordan and Jake Johnson, Zach Bell and Imad Shannak formed the winning 3,200-meter relay team.
Newsom added a victory in the long jump for the Garnet Raiders.
