We’re closing in on the end of the Capital District High School Hockey League season, and the race for the league’s leading goal scorer is very tight. Out of these five candidates, who do you think will be the top goal scorer?
Chris Caswell (Bethlehem) — Entering Thursday’s home game against Christian Brothers Academy, Caswell has 16 goals in 16 games. That’s good for a tie for the league lead with …
Kyle Marr (Shenendehowa) — The son of University at Albany men’s lacrosse coach Scott Marr is proving to be very good on the ice, too. However, Marr is part of a Shen team that features several top-notch goal scorers including Peter Russo and Ryan Mortka.
Josh Kim (Niskayuna/Schenectady) — The leader of the Mohawks’ resurgence is tied with Russo for second place in the league with 15 goals.
Kevin Egan (Shaker/Colonie) — One of the primary reasons why the Jets are in the playoff hunt is Egan, who leads the team with 14 goals.
Chris Hunt (LaSalle) — Hunt also has 14 goals this season, but in two fewer games than Egan. However, Hunt only has three games left to pass Egan, while Egan has four games remaining.
So, who do you think will be the top goal scorer? Make your selection in the box to the left side of the screen. Voting will remain open until 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
