Shenendehowa needed two goals in the third period to pull out a 7-4 victory over Shaker/Colonie in Friday’s Capital District High School Hockey League game at the Albany County Hockey Facility.
The Jets were within a goal at the start of the third period, but Austin McDonough and Tucker Marvin tallied to give the Plainsmen their three-goal margin of victory.
Peter Russo had two goals and two assists to lead Shen. Tate Cretti and Ryan Mortka each contributed a goal and two assists.
Kevin Egan tallied twice, and goaltender Zach Dignum made 37 saves for Shaker/Colonie.
