The Guilderland boys lacrosse team jumped out to a 9-2 halftime lead and cruised to a 12-6 Suburban Council South Division victory over Columbia Wednesday.
Cody Dyer and Stephen Polsinelli combined to score nine of the Dutchmen’s 12 goals. Dyer finished the afternoon with five goals and an assist, while Polsinelli contributed four goals.
Nich Bailly added two goals, Jake Smith chipped in with four assists and goaltenders Jesse Futia and Ryan Rafferty each made six saves for Guilderland.
Brendan Purcel recorded a hat trick, and goaltender Nick Barone stopped 22 shots for Columbia.
