It didn’t take long for the Bethlehem baseball team to get its bats going in a 14-4 Suburban Council South Division victory over Averill Park Tuesday.
The Eagles (8-4 league, 12-4 overall) scored six runs in the bottom of the second inning and added three more in the third to build an 11-1 lead on the Warriors (2-9, 3-11). Bethlehem finished the afternoon with 13 hits.
Jon Peatfield doubled twice and singled, and Mike Graves added a pair of hits for the Eagles. Ben Reinisch had a pair of hits for the Warriors.
