For the second time this season, the Shaker boys lacrosse team needed a big quarter to put Bethlehem away.
The Blue Bison (8-1 league, 11-1 overall) scored four times in the third quarter on their way to a 10-1 Suburban Council victory over the Eagles Monday.
Bethlehem (2-9, 4-9) kept the score close in the first half thanks to goaltender Dan Comber and a goal by Adam Liebold. But Shaker’s burst put the Blue Bison ahead 8-1, and Bethlehem never recovered.
Liam King had a hat trick, while Jake Quay and Tim Leahey each added a pair of goals for Shaker. Comber made 14 saves for Bethlehem.
