Burnt Hill-Ballston Lake stomped Gloversville with an efficient offense and a stout defense. The Spartans scored 54 unanswered points to win 54-7 on Sept. 29.

Dan Porter scored four touchdowns and Dan Maynard had two in the contest. The Burnt Hills defense did not allow a touchdown, with the only Gloversville score came on a kick-off return for a TD by Mike Murry with less than 2 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.
