The Ballston Spa girls swimming team defeated Shaker 100-80 in Wednesday’s Suburban Council home meet.
Paris Walkowiak won the 200- and 500-yard freestyle events to lead the Scotties (1-0). Anna Rovetto (diving), Julie DeGuardi (100-yard butterfly) and Kristina Keefe (100-yard backstroke) also won individual events.
Talia Sternbach finished first in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard breaststroke for Shaker (0-1). Sarah Leach won the 50-yard freestyle, and Natalie Rumpelt took first place in the 100-yard freestyle for the Blue Bison.
