The Shaker girls volleyball team defeated Mohonasen 3-0 in Friday’s Suburban Council season opener.
Madison Rowland recorded 13 kills to lead the Blue Bison, who won by scores of 25-16, 25-17 and 25-21. Setter Katie McLean contributed 17 assists, and Olivia Bruni added 12 digs.
