GUILDERLAND — The Dutch outlasted the Eagles in the Class AA quarterfinals by a score of 3-2 on Monday, Oct. 24.
The No. 4 seed Guilderland will take on No. 1 seed Saratoga in the semifinals at Mechanicville High School on Thursday at 7 p.m. The other bracket will feature No. 2 Shaker versus No. 3 Shenendehowa at Mechanicville at 5 p.m.
Against the No. 5 seed from Bethlehem, Leon Edelmann had two goals for Guilderland and Cole Mead had an assist. The Dutch also benefited from an own goal off a Bethlehem defender’s head.
Muamer Kanic scored for Bethlehem and Marcello Michel scored late in the second half on a header to bring the score to 3-2 but Bethlehem would get no closer.
