ALBANY — The Colonie boys soccer team’s season came to an end at the feet of Albany on Thursday, Oct. 20, by a score of 5-1 in the opening round of the Section II Class AA playoffs.
The score was tied 1-1 at the half, but Albany dominated the second half, scoring four unanswered goals. Hassan Mohsini had a hat trick to lead Albany, the No. 7 seed, over the No. 10 seed from Colonie.
Albany will take on No. 2 seed Shaker on Monday at Shaker.
