LATHAM — The Bethlehem girls season came to an end at the hands of Albany High in the Section II, Class AA quarterfinals at Shaker High on Thursday, Feb. 24 by a score of 46-34.
The Eagles, seeded No. 6, were led by Caroline Davis with 10 points while Kaitlyn Robbins had seven. Bethlehem’s top scorer, senior Maren Louridas, was held to five points.
Shonyea Edmonds led all scorers with 15 for the No. 3 seed Albany High while Cassidy Foley had nine.
Shaker defeated Saratoga 62-39 in the other quarterfinal game at Shaker High and will square off against Albany on Thursday, March 3 at Hudson Valley Community College. Tip is set for 6 p.m.
In the other semifinal matchup, Colonie, the No. 4 seed, will take on the top seed from Shenendehowa on Thursday. Top is set for 7:30 p.m.
