LATHAM — Bethlehem gymnasts got by Shaker on Sunday, Jan. 31, by a total combined score of 159.25 to 144.65.

Alyssa Kearns led the Shaker team with an all-around total score of 32.175, good enough for a third place finish behind Bethlehem’s Chloe Kosoc, who finished second with a 32.3, and Alison Gray who finished first with a total of 34.85.

Kearns placed third on the vault, 8.175, third on the bars, 7.35, and second on the floor exercise, 8.85.

Her teammate Alyssa Caiano finished third on the beam with an 8.3.

Gray placed first in the vault, bars and floor while Kosoc took the beam.

Both teams competed at the World Class Gymnastics Academy in front of the same set of judges but at different times so as not to mingle and spread COVID-19.
