COLONIE — The Garnet Raiders played a tough Albany team to a 1-1 tie in a Suburban Council matchup on Saturday, Oct. 31.
Timothy Knowles scored for Colonie on an assist by Fabian DeSilvia. Seconds later Muiz Bayewu tied it up for Albany and the the first half and the game ended in a 1-1 tie.
One stipulation of playing soccer in a fall season full of COVID-19 precautions if there is no overtime.
Tyler Schwank had three saves for Colonie while his counterpart for Albany, Ceasar Bermejo, had one.
Colonie (1-2-3) will next play at CBA on Friday, Nov. 6.
