BETHLEHEM — The Bandits 12U softball squad found themselves down by a bunch but rallied with 10 runs in the bottom of the fifth to come within one run of the Chatham Lady Reds.
The Bandits were down 5-0 after one and 10-3 after three innings of play. The Lady Reds added four more at Line Drive Field in the top of the fourth before the Bandits poured it on in the bottom of the fifth.
The Bandits combined for 14 hits on the night while committing two errors. A host of Bandit pitchers gave up a dozen hits.
Anna Franchini and Megan Visone went 2 for 4 with two RBIs each while Mackenzie Cross and Autumn Lishak went 2 for 4 with an RBI and two runs scored each. Maddie Danz went 1-4 with two RBIs for the Bandits.
