COLONIE — Shaker got the best of Bethlehem in a Suburban Council matchup at Siena College on Tuesday, Jan. 21 by a score of 46-32.
Shaker standout Jules DeBeatham led all scorers with 11 points while her teammate Maddisyn Mahoney had 10 and Kaelah Carter, Kathleenjoy Gordon and Angelina Shaefer had six each.
Nine Eagles scored, but nobody broke double digits. Maren Louridas had six, Caroline Wise had five and Damia Clark, Mary Devane and Julia Harvey had four each.
With the win Shaker moves to 500, 4-4, in Suburban Council play and 8-6 overall. The Bison are in fifth place in the very competitive Blue Division. Bethlehem slides to 3-4 and 4-8 and are a game behind Shaker.
Shaker will host Albany on Thursday, Jan. 23 and Bethlehem will host Saratoga on Friday, Jan. 24.
