VOORHEESVILLE — The Blackbirds dropped a Colonial Council matchup to LaSalle on Tuesday, Jan. 7, by a score of 81-74.
The Cadets led wire to wire in a fast paced game featuring two top teams in the conference. After jumping out to a 10-point lead after the first, Voorheesville cut it to seven going into the half and were down four heading into the final quarter.
Voorheesville standout Zaveon Little had 33 to lead all scorers and Tanner Tedesco had 21 and Jack Barringer had seven. Bo Catherwood had 25 to lead LaSalle and Kaylon Dickson had 19.
Voorheesville stands at 3-1 in conference play, tied for first with Watervliet in the Patriot Division, while LaSalle is 5-0 atop the Liberty Division.
The Blackbirds will next host Schalmont on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
