SPOTTED: Bethlehem boys get by Schenectady; will play Nisky in Round II

BETHLEHEM — The Eagles got by Schenectady on Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the first round of the Section II, Class AA playoffs by a score of 4-3.

Kenan Kanic had two goals and an assist for Bethlehem while Kiran Sood had a goal and an assist. Keith Winne scored a goal and Salko Kanic had two assists for The Eagles.

Brayden Karn had seven saves for Bethlehem.

There was no information available for Schenectady.

Bethlehem finished the season with an 8-4 Suburban Council record and 9-4 overall. The team entered sectional play the No. 4 seed. Schenectady was the No. 13 seed and finished the season with just one win.

Bethlehem will square off at home against Niskayuna, the No. 5 seed who beat LaSalle to advance, on Saturday, Oct. 26. The game is slated for 1 p.m.
