COLONIE — Shaker and Shen played to a 1-1 tie on Tuesday, Sept. 10 in a Suburban Council matchup between two teams in the highly competitive Blue Division.
Shen (2-1-1) took the lead at the 19:11 mark of the second half with a goal by Jaylin Sykes on an assist by Reggie Durden.
Tyler Brennan tied it up for Shaker (1-1-1) about nine minutes later with the assist going to Jaaziel Olayinka.
The two teams played two 10-minute sudden death overtimes without scoring.
Rohan Bagchi had seven saves for The Bison while Noah Flint has six for Shen.
Shaker will play at Saratoga and Shen will play at Burnt Hills on Thursday, Sept. 12.
