BETHLEHEM — The Eagles beat Shaker 5-2 on Thursday, May 2 in a Suburban Council matchup by a score of 5-2.
Bethlehem took a 3-2 lead into the sixth, when Josh Bein ripped a two-run triple into deep left field just out of the reach of a diving Brian Cunningham.
Chris Taranto went 1 for 3 for Bethlehem with a double and a run scored and Brian Bolduc went 1 for 3 with a run scored.
Alonzo Barrett went 2 for 4 for The Bison including an RBI single in the fifth to bring Shaker within a run.
Jeff Hammond got the win for Bethlehem, giving up two runs on four hits while walking three.
Justin Osborn was on the mound for Shaker, giving up five runs on six hits while walking five and striking out seven.
