BETHLEHEM — The Eagles scored six goals in the second half to beat Shaker 8-7 on Tuesday, April 23, in what has become one of the fiercest rivalries in Suburban Council boys lacrosse.
Shaker (3-1, 3-4) took a 3-2 lead into the half but Bethlehem (5-0, 7-1) answered with four goals in the third and two in the fourth to remain undefeated.
Liam Ferris had four goals and an assist for Bethlehem, while Devan Hyams had a goal and two assists. Justin Chenaille, Ben Reilly and Tyler Richards each had a goal and Justin Barnes had two assists for Bethlehem.
Amos Grimm had two goals and an assist for the Bison, while Jack Cheney had a goal and an assist. Matt Calicchia, Jack Leto, Will Pepe and John Stewart each had a goal for Shaker and Sean Mclean had an assist.
Matt Stento had 13 saves in goal for Bethlehem and Ryan Mazzariello had eight for Shaker.
Bethlehem will host Niskayuna on Thursday, April 24, and Shaker will host Shen on Tuesday, May 30.
