COLONIE — CBA held off Burnt Hills on Tuesday, Dec. 18, to win a Suburban Council matchup 53-51.
The Brothers (4-1, 4-1) led for three quarters but the Spartans (0-5, 0-5) had a fourth quarter run, outscoring CBA 14-9, to pull within two.
CBA Senior standout Jordan King led all scorers with 25 while Peter O’Toole had 13. Mike Murray had eight while Hagen Foley had three and Vince Torino and Dan Kelly had two each to round out the scoring for CBA.
Jack Wyatt and Otis Branson had 12 each for the Spartans while Alex Jameson had seven and Max Blowers had six and Alex Hromada and Aidan Giaquinto had five each .
CBA will host Amsterdam in a non-conference game on Thursday, Dec. 27, and Burnt Hills will host Niskayuna on Thursday, Dec. 20.
