BETHEHEM — Niskayuna used plays like the hook and ladder a reverse handoff on a kick off beat The Eagles on Homecoming weekend by a score of 26-17.

Niskayuna got on the board first with a on-yard run by Dereck Meisner and a successful extra point.

Dereck Martelle tied it up with a 32-yard run and then Nisky’s Aaron Whitley returned a kickoff 75 yards after the reverse hand off.

Niskayuna’s Dan Brownell hit Richie Quinn for a 69-yard touchdown and Meisner followed it up with his second score of the game. Alex Shudt scored a six-yard touchdown up the middle to end the half with Niskayuna up 26-14.

The only score of the second half came on a Shudt 27-yard field goal.

Niskayuna (3-4) will host Albany and Bethlehem (3-4) will host Schenectady on Friday, Oct. 19, for the last regular season games of the season.
