BETHLEHEM — Two Suburban Council boys volleyball powerhouses met up on Friday, Sept. 21, and The Eagles walked away still undefeated.
Bethlehem won the first set on its home court 25-23 and the second 25-22. Shen came back to win the third 25-22 and was leading for much of the the fourth but The Eagles fought back to win the set 25-22, and what was an intense, highly competitive match.
The Eagles got some revenge against Shen after losing in three sets to the Plainsmen in last year’s Section II Class AA finals.
Bethlehem will play at Burnt Hills and Shen will host Niskayuna on Monday, Sept. 24.
