COLONIE – The Colonie American 8U All Stars bested the Tri-Village American squad on Saturday, July 7, by a score of 16-8 at Cook Park.
There was one more round of games on Monday, July 9, before the top four of seven teams play for the championship beginning on Thursday, July 12, at a field yet to be determined.
Heading into Monday’s games, Guilderland had a 4-0 record, Colonie American and Tri-Village National were at 3-1, Tri-Village American was at 3-2, National was at 2-2, Colonie National was 0-5 and Hudson Valley was 0-5.
