COLONIE – The Blue Bison travelled across town to take on the Garnet Raiders and walked away with a 14-4 win and the town lax bragging rights.
Katie Julien had five goals and two assists for Shaker, Lindsay Feinman and Cait Wood had two goals and an assist each and Lila Alison and Kim Barbro had two goals each.
Sophia Thompson had two goals for Colonie and while Catherine Wang and Aleigha Walker had a goal each. Kayleigh Degonzague had an assist to round out the scoring for Colonie.
In goal, Ali Paton had five saves for Shaker and Colonie’s Kim Murray and Gabrielle Thompson combined for 14.
Shaker will host Columbia and Colonie will travel to Shen on Thursday, May 3.
