GLENS FALLS – Colonie upset No. 1 seed Saratoga, 48-41, on Monday, Feb. 27, at the Cool Insuring Arena.
The Raiders will play Shen for the Section II, Class AA title on Saturday, March 3 in Glens Falls. Tip is set for 6 p.m.
It was a game of momentum on Monday, and No. 4 seed Raiders had it when it counted most, outscoring Saratoga 22-8 in the fourth quarter. Colonie had an 11-2 lead after one and were then outscored 21-3 in the second.
On Monday, Colonie’s Will Aybar led all scorers with 15 points and Isaiah Moll had 13. Aaron Satin had 10 while Josh Aybar chipped in eight points.
Matt Larkin had 14 for Saratoga while Nate Chudy had 12 and Brian Hart had 10.
Earlier on Monday, the No. 2 seed Shen beat No. 3 seed CBA 48-40.
