RAVENA – The team from Watervliet Heatly won the 2018 Jamie Mormile Memorial Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 6, with an overall score of 160.50.
The tournament, named after a longtime volunteer with the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Wrestling Booster Club who died of Cystic Fibrosis at the age of 29 in 2010, is hosted by the RCS wrestling team and featured wrestlers from 15 high schools.
Guilderland finished second with a score of 141, Coxsackie Athens placed third with a 127, Onteora High School finished fourth with 124.5 and the host team placed fifth with an overall score of 111.5.
