GUILDERLAND – A tough, full-court press and hard-nosed defense, helped the Lady Dutch beat Mohonasen on Friday, Dec. 8, in a game that wasn’t as close as the 65-51 score indicates.
Freshman standout Valencia Fontenelle-Posson led Guilderland on offense with a 31-point effort. Six other Guilderland players scored: Gracianna Serravillo had nine points, Jessie Fiori had six, Jamie Golderman and Graycen Dubin had five each, Aysia Pink had three and Empress Lee had two.
Bre Lott led the way for Mohonasen with 19 points while Jordyn Coldwell and Kayla Hopkins had 13 and nine points, respectively. Ava Fasolino chipped in six for Mohon.
Guilderland will host Columbia and Mohonasen will host Burnt Hills Ballston Lake on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
