COLONIE – The Blue Bison handed the Blue Devils their first loss on Saturday, Sept. 23, by a score of 4-1.
Isa Provost scored two goals for the home team Shaker while Hannah Guidi had a goal and an assist in the Suburban Council matchup.
Danielle Pollay chipped in a goal and Cait Wood and Julia Roemer each had an assist for Shaker (6-2, 7-2.)
For Columbia (6-1, 7-1) Isabella Parrotte had the squad’s only goal.
Sage Smith had 15 saves for Columbia and Bria LaBella had six for Shaker.
Shaker will play at Bethlehem and Columbia will host Niskayuna on Tuesday, Sept. 26.
