BETHLEHEM – The Eagles got by Christian Brothers Academy 71-54 in a non-conference matchup at home Friday, Dec. 9.
Bethlehem put on full court pressure from the opening tip, and the Brothers just never got it going. Bethlehem led 22-14 after the first quarter, and 36-20 at the half.
Bethlehem junior forward Braden LaClair led all scorers with 24, including 10 in the first quarter, while his teammate, sophomore Michael Ortale, chipped in 14.
Senior Matthew Riker had nine points for the 1-1 Eagles, Ryan Murray had eight and Sean Flynn added seven.
Senior Nick DeBrino led the Brothers (0-3) with 12 points. He had help from Taurian Taylor and Kris Kopyc with nine points each. Price Wasula and Jordon King chipped in eight and seven, respectively.
