SPOTTED: Bethlehem girls soccer vs. Schenectady September 1

BETHLEHEM — The Bethlehem girls soccer team opened its 2016 Suburban Council season with a convincing 9-0 victory over Schenectady Thursday, Sept. 1.

Eight players scored goals for the Lady Eagles, led by Kacie Oliver’s two-goal effort. Beatrice Jones, Sophia Calabrese and Katie Hotaling each contributed a goal and an assist.

Bethlehem (1-1) was coming off a 1-0 non-league loss at Washingtonville Wednesday, Aug. 31.
