Delmar native Grace Ayer was named the Empire 8 Women’s Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week Monday evening.
The Ithaca College swimmer helped the Bombers defeat Hamilton, Hartwick and SUNY-Geneseo in a quad meet last weekend. Ayer won the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard individual medley, and she swam a leg on Ithaca’s winning 200-yard medley relay team. Ayer also placed second in the 100-yard freestyle.
