Editor, The Spotlight,
On behalf of Boy Scout Troop 75 in Delmar, we would like to thank the entire Bethlehem community for its support of our annual fundraiser, Sportsmart, which was held for the 42nd time at the Bethlehem High School cafeteria on Nov. 22. Sportsmart is our annual consignment sale of all sorts of new and used sporting goods. Because of the tremendous support we received from the people of this community who came to Sportsmart and bought goods and those that helped us promote it, the Troop was able raise significant funds for its activities. More importantly, we raised close to $400 in funds for the Regional Food Bank from your donations.
Troop 75 would also like to thank the following businesses, whose donations of time, equipment, food and support once again help make Sportsmart a resounding success: TACS Auto, Glenmont Self Storage, Elk Sign Express and National Bank of Coxsackie. We also thank the wonderful assistance we receive from the administrative and custodial staff at Bethlehem High School. Further, we thank our Charter sponsor, the First United Methodist Church in Delmar.
