I am very opposed to any sports facility being built next to Memory Gardens.
It’s just not the proper place for it. Sports fans tend to be very noisy with a lot of yelling and screaming for their teams.
Could you imagine attending a loved one’s funeral, all is quiet and dignified — when out of the blue there’s a thunderous roar and cheering and applause?
Not very nice, right?
