Editor, The Spotlight:
On behalf of the Special Olympics Track and Field Team, I would like to thank Derek Martin, Executive Director of the Bethlehem YMCA, Mark Thurman, Fitness Director at the Bethlehem YMCA and its’ membership for sharing their indoor track facilities for practice this spring; especially during inclement weather. The members went out of their way to make sure the team members felt welcome. A special thanks goes out to Barry O’Keefe, the coach, and to David and Mary Kate, the assistant coaches, for all their time and patience. The team had a great time and made a wonderful showing at the HVCC Meet in Troy and the Summer Games at Shenendehowa High school in Clifton Park.
