Letter: Article unfair to accused

Editor, The Spotlight:

I was completely disgusted with your online reporting of the arrest of Bethlehem School Psychologist Maria Mangini, which I was subjected to on Facebook. My revulsion is with the obvious slant in the reporting and the attempt to make a more sensational story.

By quoting Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple’s statement, “That’s not to say it wasn’t there prior,” you were clearly trying to make a more salacious story than there was.

Whatever happened to “innocent until proven guilty?”
